Where reclaimed rubber is specified

Applications for Reclaimed Rubber

From tyre compounds to footwear, seven end-use categories where AIC Green grades are specified daily.

01. Tyre Compounds

WTRR is blended into tyre compounds at 10–30% loading by weight. It reduces input cost by 15–25% while keeping tensile strength, tear resistance, and elongation within acceptable compounding tolerances. Our Pakistani clients — Servis, Diamond, Panther, Black Cat — all use WTRR in their tyre compound mix.

02. Inner Tubes

Tube manufacturers use both Butyl Reclaim (for air impermeability) and Natural Reclaim (for processability). These are the two primary grades produced by AIC Green. Domestic tube cluster clients in Punjab order monthly; export buyers in China order by container.

03. Footwear Soling

WTRR and Natural Reclaim are used in shoe soling compounds, typically at 20–40% replacement for virgin rubber. Hardness, abrasion, and slip resistance profiles are maintained. Pakistan’s footwear cluster (Lahore, Sialkot) is a significant domestic buyer category for AIC Green.

04. Conveyor and Power Transmission Belts

Belt manufacturers specify WTRR in cover compounds for conveyor belts and V-belts. High-loading applications (40–60% WTRR) are common in agricultural conveying belts where cost dominates over ultimate mechanical property.

05. Rubber Mats and Flooring

Compression-moulded rubber mats for livestock, gyms, and industrial use are often 100% reclaimed rubber by weight. AIC Green WTRR is the dominant input. Domestic mat manufacturers and export buyers in Southeast Asia are the primary channels.

06. Waterproofing and Roofing

Bitumen-rubber waterproofing membranes and flat roofing applications use WTRR as a modifier and primary rubber phase. Typical blends are 15–35% reclaim. Construction chemicals manufacturers in South Asia source this grade for cost reduction without compromising weather resistance.

07. Moulded Industrial Goods

Grommets, bushings, seals, stoppers, and custom mouldings across automotive, agriculture, and industrial categories. Reclaim at 20–50% loading. Both WTRR and Butyl grades are used depending on whether air-tightness or general mechanical properties are the specification driver.
