Stack of used butyl tubes and tyres as feedstock at AIC Green

From used butyl tubes

Butyl Reclaimed Rubber — the specialty grade.

Made entirely from used butyl tubes. Single-feedstock. Air-impermeable. Bought by name.

The product

The reason butyl rubber exists, commercially, is that air leaks out of natural rubber too quickly to be useful in an inner tube. Butyl holds the air. That single mechanical property — gas impermeability — is what tube manufacturers and sealants makers are buying when they buy butyl reclaim, and it’s the property our line is engineered around.

Our butyl grade is processed from used butyl tubes alone. We never blend it with whole-tyre or natural-rubber feedstock, because the moment you do, you lose the air-tightness that put butyl on the buyer’s order sheet in the first place. Other suppliers in the market do blend; we don’t.

Sample orders start at 1 MT. Production orders are typically full-container. Domestic buyers in the Punjab tube cluster order monthly; international buyers (Wuxi Wanfeng and others) order in container batches across the year.
