The environmental case for reclaimed rubber
Pakistan generates hundreds of thousands of tonnes of end-of-life tyres and rubber goods each year. The options: landfill, low-grade burning for fuel, or reclamation. The third option is the only one that preserves the mechanical value locked into the rubber compound and returns it to productive industrial use.
Reclaimed rubber uses substantially less energy to process than virgin rubber production. It generates no significant process waste stream. And it displaces the need for virgin natural rubber — which requires plantation land, harvest cycles, and long shipping distances from Southeast Asian growing regions to Pakistani factories.
AIC Green’s position: the circular economy argument is true, but our buyers aren’t buying sustainability — they’re buying cost and quality. We hold both. The environmental benefit is built into what we do.
FBR Registration
AIC Green is fully registered with Pakistan’s Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). All domestic buyers receive proper sales tax documentation. This also enables our export clients to deal through an auditable supply chain — important for buyers in regulated markets in China, Europe, and North America.
